Service Description
"Spicy Edition" Scurry Dog Taster Workshop. These special edition Taster workshops are designed with sensitive / spicy / reactive dogs in mind! These will be run differently to our usual workshops. Dogs will arrive in 30 minute blocks, two dogs per block. The two dogs will rotate through the 3 activities and then be free to head off. This minimises waiting time for sensitive dogs and also means less triggers in the environment. You will still get the same amount of workshop and activities with your dog as you would in a normal taster but rather than rotating with 5-7 other dogs, it'll just be one other dog and then you can go. There will also be a 20 minute Online component before the session (live but will also be recorded) where we will run you through some basic information about Scurry Dog and you can ask questions. These taster workshops introduce you and your dog to some of Scurry Dog's unique, gun-dog inspired games! Learn all about this fun, new activity in a supportive, friendly environment and go home with new skills, and a fulfilled, happy dog! Our taster workshops introduce you and your dog to activities for 3 of the 5 Scurry Dog games - The 5 games are: The Retrieve, Scramble Grid, Everyday Dog, Nose Quest and Sniffit Trail. Dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds are welcome! No experience necessary! Equipment you may need for the workshop (a detailed email will be sent out a few days before your session confirming what you need): - Well fitted flat collar or harness. - A standard length leash - A long leash (5-10m) - Lots of small, high-value treats - Your dog's favourite toy/s - A water bowl / water (for you and your dog) - A mat / placeboard (if you have one / your dog is trained to use one) Missed out on a spot in an upcoming workshop? If you cannot make a service you have booked you should notify us in writing as soon as possible on hello@animalhausbehaviour.com.au Cancellation: • More than 48 hours notice - you will receive a refund minus $70 administration fees unless a replacement attendee can be found. • Less than 48 hours - no refund is available unless the place in class/workshop can be filled by another paying attendee. If no replacement attendee can be found then your full fees will be non-refundable. Rescheduling / Transfers: Rescheduling or transferring into another service is dependent on available services and entirely at our discretion. Transfers are not available less than 72 hours before the commencement of your service. Reactive Dogs: Please note that unless otherwise stated in the service information, Scurry Dog classes and workshops are group sessions. This means that other dogs will be visible throughout the session. If your dog is anxious / nervous or reactive to other dogs or people this may not be suitable for them. Please contact us to discuss alternatives though has we love working with Spicy Dogs and will happily help you find an alternative option! hello@animalhausbehaviour.com.au Dogs + Handlers: Each dog attending will need their own individual handler. One person cannot bring along two dogs. By registering for our event you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions of business including our Indemnity waiver.
