All the benefits of our BetterPuppy Class, with one-to-one training tailored to your puppy. Can't attend our group Puppy Classes, or simply prefer private sessions? Our BetterPuppy One-2-One program gives you the same learning resources and guidance, with flexible training at your home or our secure, private facility in Tamborine. More than just sit and stay! Raising a puppy isn't just about obedience. It's about helping them develop confidence, independence, good habits and practical skills for everyday life. We want puppies who can cope with new experiences, make good choices and feel comfortable in the world around them, not just follow cues when treats are on offer. Across six personalised 60-minute sessions, we'll work on the things that matter to you and your puppy, including: • Recall, loose lead walking and everyday manners. • Settling, sleeping, toilet training and puppy biting. • Socialisation, confidence and exploring new environments. • Play, engagement, handling and cooperative care. • Independence and preparing for adolescence. Sessions are spread across key developmental stages, from approximately 8 to 26 weeks of age. Rather than following a rigid weekly curriculum, we'll progress at a pace that suits your puppy, focusing on their individual needs and your goals. Training in your home allows us to address the things you're experiencing day to day, while sessions at our facility give you a quiet, secure space to build new skills. As your puppy develops, we can also work on applying those skills in more realistic situations, with the right level of support and distraction. What's included? • 6 private training sessions (approximately 60 minutes each). • In-home or facility-based training to suit your family and puppy. • Individualised exercises and homework to build skills between sessions. • Lifetime access to the BetterDog Puppy Development System, featuring 14 chapters and 118 video lessons covering puppyhood through adolescence. • Access to additional training resources, our online community and ongoing guidance. All provided by our qualified dog behaviour professional with 15+ years of hands on experience with dogs (of all ages), parrots + zoo animals. Cost: $995 plus travel fees for in-home session more than 20kms from our facility (Tamborine 4270).
