Service Description
4 Sessions | Flexible Start Date | Training Tailored to you + your dog Everyday Dog + Scurry Dog Beginner sessions are the entry point into our Scurry Dog community but are also PERFECT for pet dog owners looking to teach important life skills such as loose lead walking, stay, settle, stop, engagement and more! Our Beginner sessions introduce dogs and handlers to the 5 Scurry Dog games and all of the associated skills + activities. Each session and skill taught is tailored to the individual teams on the day. You do not need any previous sport or training experience to join these sessions. This class is suitable for first-time handlers, dogs new to structured training, owners curious about Scurry Dog or pet dogs owners who just want better focus/engagement, confidence, and practical everyday life skills! All skills are taught from the beginning, with clear criteria and individual coaching built into each session. Group suitability: These are small group sessions (maximum 6 dogs). Dogs should be able to work on lead around other dogs, take food or toys in a shared training space, and recover from excitement with guidance. If you’re unsure whether this environment is right for your dog, please get in touch before booking. What is Scurry Dog? Scurry Dog is a progressive, modular dog sport built around games based on Gundog training, these games develop engagement and emotional regulation, independent problem-solving, distance skills, spatial awareness, retrieve foundations, scent work, memory, and persistence. It focuses on thinking, adaptability, and teamwork, not just obedience. Class Structure: You sign up for a block of 4 sessions. We recommend completing 2 blocks (8 weeks) of 4 Beginner sessions before moving into our Level 1 Progression classes. Our Beginner classes are structured so you can start immediately! No need to wait for the next class date. Classes held Sat mornings at 7:30am (time may vary pending time of the year / weather). Max 6 dogs 60 - 75 minutes (pending number of dogs) Cost: $275 / 4 session block OR buy 2 blocks up front for $510 (8 sessions) Includes: 4 or 8 Classes, structured progression, individual coaching, access to our community Whatsapp group. Location: Private Field, Tamborine (4270) Places are limited. Booking is essential. Once you have chosen your plan (1 block or 2 blocks), you will be able to immediately book in your sessions. We recommend doing this to ensure you can start on your preferred dates!

Cancellation Policy
Please see our full terms, conditions and indemnity waiver on our website here: https://www.animalhausbehaviour.com.au/t-c-s-page Scurry Dog Service Payment Policies: Full payment is due at the time of booking to secure your spot in your chosen class / workshop / course. If you cannot make a service you have booked you should notify us in writing as soon as possible on hello@animalhausbehaviour.com.au Cancellation: • More than 48 hours notice - you will receive a refund minus $70 administration fees unless a replacement attendee can be found. • Less than 48 hours - no refund is available unless the place in class/workshop can be filled by another paying attendee. If no replacement attendee can be found then your full fees will be non-refundable. Rescheduling / Transfers: Rescheduling or transferring into another service is dependent on available services and entirely at our discretion. Transfers are not available less than 72 hours before the commencement of your service. Reactive Dogs: Please note that unless otherwise stated in the service information, Scurry Dog classes and workshops are group sessions. This means that other dogs will be visible throughout the session. If your dog is anxious / nervous or reactive to other dogs or people this may not be suitable for them. Please contact us to discuss alternatives though has we love working with Spicy Dogs and will happily help you find an alternative option! hello@animalhausbehaviour.com.au Dogs + Handlers: Each dog attending will need their own individual handler. One person cannot bring along two dogs. By registering for our event you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions of business including our Indemnity waiver.
